The Media Diversity Council is engaged in dialog and action with media/communication professionals on diversity & leadership best practices using the council and its partners as the primary mediums. Addressing all issues pertaining to diversity in media, communication, and education that have impact on individuals, organizations, and the community.
I had a chance to sit and talk with Carl today about life, entrepreneurship, and the Media Diversity Council. What an engaging experience, to talk to a person with such passion and vision. Carl understands that a tree is not grown overnight and he has been on the grind stone with the council. He’s sort of like father time in that he’s dealing with the future, and the future being our kids.
“Students are exposed to entrepreneurship and career fields through participation in hands on field trips, on-line resources, competition and internships. Through this series of interactions, students are introduced to a variety of professional mentors all focused on helping them identify a career path and transforming them into self-motivated learners”.
