Michael Franks

My all time favorite artist, I have everything he has ever made even the imports. Funny how I grew up listening to Hip Hop and crossed over to jazz. I think it was the fact that I have always been creative and thought about creative things, beautiful places, and expressed myself through words.

That ties me to this artist with his lyrics of distant places, beautiful scenic visions, and the relaxing melodies. I remember meeting him at the House of Blues in New Orleans as he was entering the venue for a concert, I wasn’t into photography at the time, as I would have had a self proclaimed milestone in my photographic career by capturing him on film.

I picked up his video on mtv.com. Head over there, They have a new streaming video system with every artist known to man, I’m sure you’ll find someone you like.
