Bluu a fellow New Orleanian and Warren Easton Alumni. I had a chance to work with Bluu, Austin’s R&B hippie on a shoot in collaboration with Jim-E-O for an upcoming project. It was a VIBE called Quest, because the vibe was there and we were on a quest for creativity.
This is just a creative post production image I put together, sorry I can’t share others at this time but can you feel the vibe….

I had the pleasure of photographing Dora Garza we are facebook friends and had passed notes about working together and it finally came to reality today. If you know me and the way I work, I like to capture the personality in a person. I’m not a real poser, I will direct you yes but my approach as I call it is, controlled fun.
I want you to be yourself and have fun, but I will guide you when needed. Dora looked at my website and saw the people posted and brought some dresses with her, next time she will bring some of her costumes and accessories. Music and alcoholic beverages usually does the trick with helping a person loosen up. Here are a few of the many beautiful shots from our session.

Today I had the chance to work with another new actor/model for some head shots, John Carlin. He has also made appearances on the Friday Night Lights series, and is looking to further his career. Speaking with John I realized he had the triple D’s, Determination, Drive, and Dedication, The three major factors to any venture.
Believing in yourself actually means more than your abilities to accomplish the task at hand. With John’s positive attitude and drive to succeed in acting, I’m looking to see more from him in the future.
